Create Calm with Meditation

Learn meditation techniques for a modern lifestyle and other methods for creating calm in your daily life. Concepts we’ll cover include:

  • A variety of meditation techniques.
  • Energy centers in our bodies.
  • Grounding and centering.
  • Filling in with your own positive energy.
  • Protection techniques from harmful or unhealthy energy.

Take from this class tools you can use immediately to:

  • Feel more centered.
  • Cope more effectively.
  • Release daily stress.
  • Protect yourself from harmful energy.

Ongoing Group Class

I offer a series of classes to those interested in building on or practicing meditation skills, beyond an initial class.  Please contact me for more information about this series.

Children’s Meditation

In our over-scheduled, technology-saturated world, more and more children feel the same stress and overwhelm as many adults, on a daily basis.  Children may be even more sensitive to these energies, manifesting in difficulties focusing and sleeping.

This class a simple introduction to meditation, taught in an age-appropriate style using fun imagery and visualization.  Your child will learn methods for:

  • Meditating and relaxing.
  • Feeling safe in his/her own personal space.
  • Managing his/her own energy.
  • Protecting him/herself from unhealthy energies.

Meditation can help your child to:

  • Increase concentration and focus.
  • Release stress.
  • Decrease bedtime struggles and improve sleep.
  • Cope with anxiety and fear.

Classes are offered separately to groups of children, ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12.

Host a Meditation Class

Gather your colleagues, friends and family members for a customized meditation class, in your home or space.  Receive a complimentary space clearing, or qi adjustment, in your space before the class.  (A qi adjustment can help move stuck energy, creating a space that feels more comfortable, livable or workable.)  Of course class fees are waived for hosts and hostesses.

Private Coaching Sessions

In case a group setting is too distracting or overwhelming for you, I offer private sessions for individuals, couples and small groups.  In this setting, instruction is tailored to your needs.  Please contact me for more information.
